Are You Ready To Create Your Own WordPress Theme?

Is this a tutorial?

I certainly hope so. I enjoy tweaking the default theme. But if I do not make a record of what I've done, I couldn't remember how it was done weeks later..

And even if I made records, I couldn't locate the files when I needed them.So the obvious thing to do is to post them here.

Putting down in words forced me to record it in a manner that it's easy to comprehend. With your feedbacks, I will be able to improve along the way

xHTML, CSS, PHP... What's that?

This is what I hope to achieve -
I am going to show you a step-by-step method of tweaking the Default Theme. After completing the beginner's section, you will have a better understanding of the basic css, html and php which is essential in tweaking of the Wordpress style sheet and the rest of the Wordpress templates.

I am confident that you will be able to achieve that though how clear my instructions depends much on your feedbacks. That's the reason why I am letting you in as a Free Lifetime Member.

And oftentimes, we have to fail many times before we succeed.
This applies to life anyway; we will surely fail at the first few attempts. It's only through these failures that we learn what works, what won't.

So, kindly tell me where are you now...

Even if you know nothing about html, css and php, say so. That will give me an indication of how slow I should go.
